Swarandeep is a Venture Capitalist, currently working for the Madrid-headquartered Axon Partners Group. He serves as the Investment Manager for Axon’s India Opportunities Fund and is on the Board of several technology startups across South East Asia. I stumbled into Healthcare when my brother joined his Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at Maulana Azad Medical College in 2006. He has been very passionate for Healthcare, especially community health care as his family members have started numerous initiatives in this area.
I learned about GHNGN through Andreea Badache – a fellow participant at the UNLEASH Innovation Lab 2017. I couldn’t but be supportive of a network that helps connects young global health professionals launch meaningful careers. This resonates with my deep inclination for SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. I run a similar initiative called Employment Catalyst helping global youth with jobs across different industries. Networks like GHNGN foster ideation, collaboration, and co-creation to build scalable and implementable solutions around the UN Sustainable Development Goals which will further support in tackling these challenges head-on.
Starting September 2017, Swarandeep Singh is leading fundraising for GHNGN and will be managing the annual budget as treasurer. I am also happy to answer questions around fundraising and do so regularly on different forums.
