I studied Microbiology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, my Degree Final Project was titled “Malaria Immunology in Pregnant women”. In summer 2015 I did an Erasmus Internship at the Research Center for Molecular Medicine (CeMM) and Medical University of Vienna. Afterward, I started the Master of Clinical Research – International Health track at the University of Barcelona and the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). I am currently working at the Laboratory of Microbiology of the Public Health Agency of Barcelona. My research interests are focused on maternal and child health and diseases affecting the vulnerable population.
I had the opportunity to present my Master’s Final Project about neonatal sepsis in the 3rd. GHNGN Forum organized in Barcelona. I found the conference helpful and I wanted to be a part of the network to help other students and young professionals in Global Health.
