I am Elena Marbán Castro and I come from Madrid, Spain. I studied Health Biology at Universidad de Alcalá de Henares and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research: International Health track. Nowadays, I am working as Research Assistant at the Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health initiative at ISGlobal. My passions are equity and global health.
I first heard about the network in a congress in 2014. The following year I contacted the GHNGN because I had some doubts about what master I wanted to course. After a Skype call with Camila, I decided which one would fit best for me and… here I am!
I attended the last two conferences in Barcelona and found them amazing and really helpful. I wanted to collaborate because I do believe in global health and many times it is very complicated for us, the next generation. Here we are, ready to help you!
Chair of the board, responsible for coordinating team activities from the network.
